PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION TERMS FOR ALL NEW 2021 RESEVATIONS

Upon a received confirmation of reservation, a deposit amounting to € 100 per person is required, along with a final payment of the balance to be paid not later than 30 days prior to the cruise.

Deposit will be refunded or can be used as a credit in 2022 (or later) for all clients who are forced to cancel or unable to travel up to 30 days prior to the cruise, due to COVID-19 health issues or pandemic restrictions.

For cancellations due to pandemic restrictions* within 30 days prior to the cruise (29 – 0 days) deposit and balance paid can be used as a credit in 2022 (or later), but they are NON-REFUNDABLE.

Ambassador Travel will refund deposit or transfer deposit payment to 2022 (or later) if ship or the Republic of Croatia will be closed due to government restrictions, or regulatory requirements arising from Covid-19 or similar, or government restrictions of the guests` home country, or the airlines prohibited flying to Croatia up to 30 days to the date of the cruise.

MEASURES TO ENSURE OUR GUESTS SAFETY

This pandemic has forced us to rethink our hygiene and safety procedures to provide our guests safe, healthy and carefree cruise. While this virus is still trying to be stopped, Ambassador Travel is taking proactive steps to ensure hygiene and service at highest quality standard. Guests safety is at the top of our priority list.

1) Cleaning procedures

We are all aware how much the hygiene and densification are important to minimize the spread of any virus. According to that Ambassador Travel will increase the frequency of regular cleaning, all common areas will be cleaned at least two times per day with the cleaning agents that have been proved to eliminate viruses and bacteria.

Surfaces that are frequently touched like light switches, remote controls, handrails, doorknobs, cabin keys, etc. will be disinfected multiple times every day, as well as public toilets on the ship.

Special emphasis will be placed on common areas, especially on ship`s salon, where chairs, desks and other surfaces will be cleaned after each use.

During the cruise cabin cleaning service will be provided on daily basis. Guests who do not want their cabin to be cleaned daily can refuse if they wish so.

2) Personal hygiene

Personal hygiene is the key for minimizing the spread of the COVID-19 and other viruses. Recommendations for personal hygiene are probably very familiar to all of us, but due to their importance they will be repeated to guests frequently:

  • wash your hands often with soap and water
  • use alcohol-based hand sanitizers when you can’t use soap and water
  • avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth

To ensure guests safety we are introducing the following:

Hand sanitizers – will be available at the entrance of the ship, as well as at the entrance of the salon. We kindly ask all guests to use sanitizer every time they entering the salon and when getting on/off the ship.

Soap and paper towels – will be available in all guests cabins for personal use.

3) Social distancing

Ambassador Travel fleet consist of small cruise ships, which means our groups cannot be bigger than 36-38 people. This allows us to respect and accommodate all social distancing requirements.

Thanks to very spacious sundecks on most of our ships we are able to place sun beds and chairs at the recommended distance by law.

4) Air conditioning

All Ambassador Travel ships are fully air conditioned and guests can set controls in cabins, to suit their personal requirements. Salon and other public areas have air condition. The air-conditioning system is annually maintained and filters are cleaned and replaced as needed.

Since large AC systems may contribute in the development and spread of the virus, we will include extra measures in cleaning and disinfecting AC units. Guests who do not want to use air condition in the cabins can easily turn it off.

5) Crew

Every crew member will be trained and informed on the new procedures, including maintaining the highest hygiene standards and keeping social distance when interacting with guests. They will be advised to use masks and gloves and to use hand sanitizer regularly.

6) Health checks

Guests who are feeling unwell or having signs of a fever will need to contact cruise directors and they will be transferred to the coast to the nearest hospital for health check.

Guests temperature will be measured daily without touching by infrared temperature thermometers.
